This is one of the key activities in a series of programs to effectively implement Plan No. 400/KH-UBND dated July 21, 2021 of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee on e-commerce development in the area for the period 2021-2025.
With a spirit of innovation, flexibility and practicality, the program aims to form a young workforce with the capacity to apply technology and digital business in the context of strong digital transformation.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Vo Quang Tuan - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade emphasized: "We are living in a period where e-commerce is no longer a choice, but an inevitable trend. Training digital skills and e-commerce thinking for students is a strategic task, creating a high-quality human resource foundation to serve the digital economic development of Nghe An province. Today's conference is a clear demonstration of the spirit of three-way cooperation: State - School - Enterprise in digital transformation".
The conference attracted the attention and participation of nearly 200 students majoring in economics, information technology, and tourism at Vinh University. Not only a theoretical training session, the program also provided practical experiences through sharing from leading experts and businesses operating effectively on digital platforms.

In the specialized training section, students are exposed to many highly applicable contents such as: The importance of digital branding in the Internet era and digital transformation - presented by a representative of the Vietnam Internet Center (VNNIC); Omnichannel sales strategy - from theory to practice, shared by a representative of the SAPO platform; Business via social networks, livestream sales - presented by Meta Ecom; Application of artificial intelligence (AI) in e-commerce - introduced by IVIET; And finally, the trend of making money from digital platforms...

Along with the training activities, the lively discussion and minigame sessions provided opportunities for direct interaction between students and experts, opening up clearer career orientations for young people.
The organization of the training conference not only contributes to concretizing the digital transformation policy of Nghe An province but also affirms the increasingly clear role of e-commerce in life - economy - society. Through close coordination between the Department of Industry and Trade, schools and businesses, Nghe An is taking the lead in building a training model associated with practice, keeping up with new business trends, making e-commerce a lever for sustainable development.
Also on this occasion, the Vietnam E-commerce Association awarded the VecomNet Network Membership Certificate to the School of Economics, Vinh University. VecomNet is a network of e-commerce training institutions officially established with the participation of higher education institutions across the country.
