The incident occurred on the afternoon of November 18, from Km226+500 to Km226+800, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat. The landslide extended more than 15m towards the negative slope, eating deep into the roadbed in a frog-jaw shape.

Due to the seriousness of the incident, the Lam Dong Department of Construction was forced to ban trucks of 15 tons or more from traveling through Mimosa Pass in Da Lat while waiting for authorities to fix the problem.

Since last night, the construction unit has used dozens of large iron bars, driven several meters deep into the ground to stabilize the roadbed, preventing rainwater from pouring into this location, causing further landslides.
