Khanh Hoa approves location to build Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology branch in Nha Trang

On May 13, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province announced that it had approved the location for the construction of a branch of the University of Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University) in Khanh Hoa. The land area of ​​about 4.3 hectares will be reserved for this project, located in the Bac Hon Ong School, Training and Vocational Training Area, Phuoc Dong Commune, Nha Trang City.

The location of the land is specifically determined with the east bordering the N4 planning road and the land of the Training and Research Facility of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics ; the west bordering the 3rd ring road; the south bordering the 59 planning road; the north bordering the public green land.

Previously, as Thanh Nien reported, on March 25, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, had a working session with the University of Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University) on promoting the construction of a branch of the University of Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University) in Khanh Hoa.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu also agreed with the draft cooperation agreement between the school and the province in 9 areas: marine technology, construction, information technology, environment, agriculture , training, consulting, scientific and technological information, and international cooperation.

At the same time, the Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa province also suggested a number of areas of strength, suitable for the development orientation of the province in the coming time.

Many experts believe that developing high-quality higher education facilities in Khanh Hoa will help reduce pressure on schools in big cities, while creating opportunities for students in the Central region to access quality education without having to travel far.
