On December 4, information from Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to organize a Local Policy Forum.

Accordingly, the forum was organized to exchange, discuss, and consult with experts, scientists , associations, businesses, investors and local experiences on groups of issues related to site clearance and resettlement, tourism development, training and human resource development, digital transformation, and green transformation.

From there, seek solutions, mechanisms and policies to remove bottlenecks, unblock resources, meet the requirements of construction and socio-economic development of Khanh Hoa province in particular and localities in the North Central region and Central Coast in general.

At the same time, supplement scientific and practical arguments to serve the direction, supervision and administration of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee of Khanh Hoa. On that basis, agencies, units and localities organize reviews, develop solutions, mechanisms, policies or propose and recommend to the Central Government according to their authority to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, promote socio-economic development of localities in the North Central and Central Coast regions in accordance with the new context and situation.

The forum focuses on 5 topics: Land clearance and resettlement, tourism development, human resource training and development, digital transformation, green transformation. It is expected that the topic "Land clearance and resettlement" will be held in December 2023. The remaining topics of the forum will be held in 2024 (1 topic in 1 quarter).

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee assigned the Departments of Natural Resources and Environment, Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Tourism, Information and Communications, and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to preside over and coordinate with relevant units and localities to develop a detailed plan to organize thematic forums in the assigned fields, and report to the Provincial People's Committee within the prescribed time limit.
