Inauguration of the National Historical Monument "Education Subcommittee 1965 - 1975"

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, on the morning of April 26, in Cu Pui commune (Krong Bong district), the Provincial Association of Former Teachers in coordination with the Department of Education and Training organized the inauguration of the National Historical Monument "Education Subcommittee in the period 1965 - 1975".

Attending the ceremony were Director of the Departmentof Education and Training Le Thi Thanh Xuan, Chairman of the Provincial Association of Former Teachers Ha Ngoc Dao, Chairman of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education Pham Dang Khoa and representatives of officials, teachers and students of Krong Bong district.

At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the revolutionary tradition of the nation. Krong Bong district was the Resistance Base of Dak Lak province (1965 - 1975). On December 29, 2023, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Decision 4241/QD-BVHTTDL on ranking national relics for the Historical Relics Additional Relic Sites to the Resistance Base of Dak Lak province (1965-1975), the communes of Hoa Le, Hoa Phong, Cu Pui, Yang Mao and Cu Dram, including 39 locations including the Education Subcommittee.

The Education Subcommittee is located in Cu Pui commune, in 1973 it was the Dak Lak Education Board, in 1975 it was the Dak Lak Education Department, from 1982 to present it is the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training.

During the period 1965 - 1975, the Education Subcommittee built a movement to eliminate illiteracy and develop primary education for ethnic minorities in base communes and liberated communes; built a local education management network... Thereby, creating a foundation for the development of the current provincial education sector.

The Education Subcommittee stele located in Dak Tuor village, Cu Pui commune is a deep gratitude to generations of teachers and revolutionary elders. This will be a red address for the education sector and localities to educate generations of students about local education content and the revolutionary tradition of the nation.

The ceremony organizers and sponsors awarded scholarships and gifts to students who overcame difficulties.

On this occasion, the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education and sponsors awarded 35 scholarships and gifts to students who overcame difficulties and studied well in Krong Bong district.
