The resting place of Cao Dinh Do (1744 – 1810) – the first founder and Cao Dinh Huong (? – 1870) – the second founder of the goldsmith profession, the mausoleum at lane 175 Phan Boi Chau has existed for more than 120 years and was recognized as a National Cultural Relic by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 1990. In 2015, the mausoleum was restored by goldsmith businesses across the country.
According to Mr. Tran Thanh Phuoc, the head of the goldsmith clan, the construction of a welcome gate for the mausoleum has been cherished by the goldsmith clan for a long time. In September 2024, with the attention and support of the city government, the People's Committee of Truong An Ward carried out relevant procedures, and the project began construction. The construction funding source is a socialized source from the goldsmith clan.
