Inauguration of Monument Park and Memorial House of Heroic Martyr Vo Thi Sau

On April 26, the People's Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province held the inauguration ceremony of the Monument Park and Memorial House of Heroic Martyr Vo Thi Sau, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province (April 27, 1975 - April 27, 2025).

Attending the inauguration ceremony were General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member and Minister of National Defense; Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang, Commander of Military Region 7; Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh, Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission ; leaders and former leaders of Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Ho Chi Minh City provinces and a large number of officers, soldiers and people in the area.

The project of the Monument Park and Memorial House of Heroic Martyr Vo Thi Sau was started on June 4, 2024, on an area of ​​over 18,000m2 in Dat Do town (Long Dat district), with many items such as the memorial house area, park area, monument, internal traffic routes, parks, trees, equipment... with a total investment of over 440 billion VND.

The project has an important meaning in propagating and educating revolutionary traditions for all classes of people in the province, contributing to promoting and developing the local socio-economy . This is also a place for people and tourists to remember, visit, and educate the young generation about the example of Heroine Martyr Vo Thi Sau, contributing to gradually beautifying the urban area, serving the development of socio-economy, trade, tourism and services in the locality.

According to the plan, after attending the inauguration ceremony and offering incense to commemorate Heroic Martyr Vo Thi Sau, General Phan Van Giang and the delegation will visit and present gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Hoa Long and Long Phuoc (Ba Ria city)./.
