On the morning of May 10, Nga Son District People's Committee held the inauguration ceremony of the project "Construction of a 2-storey, 4-room classroom building for Nga Phu Primary School, Nga Phu Commune, Nga Son District, Thanh Hoa Province" sponsored by the Rapid Impact Fund of the Government of India.

Attending the inauguration ceremony, on the Indian side, there were: Mr. Sandeep Arya , Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Vietnam; members of the Indian Embassy in Vietnam.
On the side of Thanh Hoa province, there were comrade Nguyen Van Thi, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of provincial departments, agencies and branches; leaders of Nga Son district; Nga Phu commune and a large number of cadres, teachers, staff and students of Nga Phu Primary School.

Nga Phu Primary School was established in 1996, the school's facilities include a principal's office and 15 classrooms for teaching and learning. Despite efforts, some classrooms have deteriorated and the number of classrooms is still not enough to meet the current number of students in the commune. Therefore, the Indian Government's sponsorship and investment in building additional classrooms for Nga Phu Primary School is very important, meeting the urgent need to improve the quality of teaching and learning at the school.

Within 12 months, since the project was announced by the Embassy of India in Vietnam for signing and implementation on January 30, 2023 and was approved by the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee to receive the project on March 9, 2023; the project was started, completed, and put into use in January 2024, with an implementation cost of VND 3,919 billion; of which, the aid capital of the Embassy of India in Vietnam is 50,000 USD (equivalent to more than VND 1,170 billion) and the local counterpart capital is VND 2,749 billion.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi presented a gift to Mr. Sandeep Arya , Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Vietnam.
After completing the project, teachers and students of Nga Phu Primary School will be able to study in new, spacious and modern classrooms. In addition, the above project has contributed to the school meeting the criteria for educational quality assessment according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and was recognized by the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province as a National Standard School Level 2 in December 2023. With this achievement, the school also contributes to accelerating the completion of criteria for Nga Phu commune to strive to achieve the goal of building an advanced NTM program and a model NTM program according to plan.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi sincerely thanked the Government of India for its attention, support and companionship with the local education cause. At the same time, he welcomed the Party Committee, government, and people of Nga Phu commune, along with all teachers and students of Nga Phu Primary School for their material and spiritual support, creating all conditions for the project to be implemented safely, smoothly and on schedule.

In the coming time, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi respectfully requested the Embassy of India in Vietnam to pay attention and continue to sponsor the implementation of projects in Thanh Hoa province from the Quick Impact Fund and other resources to meet urgent needs in areas such as: health, education, agriculture, infrastructure investment, water supply and drainage... especially in mountainous areas and areas with many difficulties.
