On November 19, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province coordinated with the Provincial Border Guard Command to organize the inauguration ceremony of the border marker inspection and protection road No. 1146/1 in Na An village, Dong Dang commune.

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province Nguyen Hoang Tung emphasized that the completion of the milestone inspection road project has special significance, welcoming the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of Lang Son province, term 2025-2030.

The project is a testament to Lang Son's correct policy in mobilizing the combined strength of the entire political system and all social resources to participate in building and consolidating the border line.

Putting the project into use has practical significance, creating favorable conditions for officers and soldiers of Bao Lam Border Guard Station in patrolling, inspecting, and firmly protecting national border sovereignty .

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tung stated that in the coming time, the unit will continue to call for and mobilize resources to support Bao Lam Border Guard Station and other Border Guard stations in the province.

He requested the Party Committee and authorities of Dong Dang commune and Bao Lam Border Guard Station to continue to perform well the task of protecting the border, effectively promoting the model of self-management, self-defense and self-protection; contributing to maintaining security and order in the border area and consolidating the people's hearts and minds.

Bao Lam Border Guard Station is assigned to manage and protect a border section of more than 15km with 41 border markers. The system of patrol roads and branch roads connecting to the markers has a steep slope, causing many difficulties for border inspection, patrol and protection.

Understanding these difficulties, since the beginning of November 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province has mobilized resources to support Bao Lam Border Guard Station to survey, design and start construction of the road to check the border markers 1146/1, 1148, 1148/1, 1148/2 with a total cost of more than 420 million VND. The remaining road to check the border markers are under construction and are expected to be completed in November 2025.

Lieutenant Colonel Do Van Phuc, Political Commissar of Bao Lam Border Guard Station, said that in recent years, thanks to the investment attention of all levels, agencies, departments and socialized resources, the unit has built 13 border marker inspection roads with a total length of more than 2,220m, creating favorable conditions for border patrol, management and protection.

According to the Lang Son Provincial Border Guard Command, from 2022 to now, Border Guard stations have completed 333/459 border marker inspection roads with a total length of about 77km; currently, there are still 126 roads with a length of 58km that have not been built./.
