Ribbon cutting ceremony for factory inauguration

Attending the ceremony were Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Le Truong Luu; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong; provincial leaders of all periods, together with representatives of departments, branches and localities; leaders of Scavi Group and domestic and foreign partners.

The Scavi 2 Factory Renovation Project is a sportswear factory of Scavi Group. The factory has a total construction area of ​​14,500 m2, an investment capital of more than 250 billion VND, and a construction period of 6 months. The completed project has an environmentally friendly design with maximum application of renewable energy solutions, energy saving as well as environmentally friendly construction materials, meeting Green Factory standards.

Provincial leaders visit Factory 2

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong highly appreciated the contributions of Scavi Company in recent years to the socio -economic development of the province, contributing to job creation, increasing budget revenue, and enhancing the export value of the province. In particular, in the fire incident at Factory 2 that occurred in June 2022, the company made efforts to promptly complete related procedures to invest in the construction and restoration of Factory 2 to complete and put it into operation. Although the order situation in 2023 for the garment industry is very difficult (down 30-50%), the company still maintains production and business activities, with revenue in 2023 reaching about 115.5 million USD, export value reaching 104 million USD, contributing 39 billion VND to the budget and creating jobs for more than 6,500 people.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong requested the company to continue promoting its achievements and developing products with high added value. At the same time, apply advanced quality management standards and regulations to enhance product competitiveness, promote the shift from manufacturing to FOB forms; thereby, improve the quality of human resources, including research, design, engineering, technology, and management capacity to meet development requirements.
