Inauguration of housing for families with revolutionary contributions

QTO - On August 16, Truong Ninh commune held the inauguration ceremony and handed over a house to Ms. Tran Thi Mac, Xuan Duc 2 village, Truong Ninh commune.

Mrs. Tran Thi Mac, 83 years old this year, is the daughter of a martyr, living alone in a seriously degraded level 4 house. For over 46 years, she has been tirelessly taking care of 37 students from the border commune of Truong Son to live in her house for free so that they can study in high school. Her wish is to have a sturdy, high house to protect against storms and to give the students of Truong Son a more spacious, clean and beautiful place to live.

Understanding her situation, the People's Committee of Truong Ninh commune mobilized and supported resources to help Ms. Mac have a more secure house.

The project started in July 2025. After nearly 1.5 months of construction, the house has been completed on schedule, ensuring design standards and safety in use. The house has an area of ^60m2 with a total value of 300 million VND; of which: The State supported 80 million VND under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for people with meritorious services, the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development supported 220 million VND; members, union members, and youth of Truong Ninh commune participated in contributing working days.

At the handover ceremony, Truong Ninh commune, Truong Son commune, Dat Quang Advertising Design Company Limited, Quang Ninh High School and Xuan Duc 2 village presented Mrs. Mac's family with essential items to help her stabilize her life.

This is a project of profound political , social and humanistic significance, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of families of people with meritorious services.
