The Central Square project of District 28-1 has a total investment of 158,466 billion VND from the provincial budget and the district budget. In terms of scale, the project has a total area of 5.23 hectares, including many modern functional items such as: The main square area is 18,030m² wide; the system of flower gardens, trees and landscape lakes is over 13,120m² wide, contributing to creating an ecological space, regulating the climate for the area; the internal traffic infrastructure of the area includes 9 roads with a total length of 920m, asphalt concrete pavement. Along with that is a synchronous technical infrastructure system: water supply, rainwater drainage, wastewater, 35kV underground power system, transformer station, fire prevention and fighting, public lighting, etc.
The Central Square of District 28-1 was invested in and built in a systematic and modern manner, fully meeting the standards of quality, technique and aesthetics; it is a highlight of the urban space, bringing a new, modern and civilized look to the center of Dam Ha district. The project not only has architectural and landscape value, but also has profound cultural, political and social significance. This will also be the place to organize political, cultural and sports events at the district and regional levels, attracting tourists to visit and experience; contributing to promoting socio-economic development, improving the quality of cultural and spiritual life of the people in the area.
On this occasion, Dam Ha district awarded collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the construction of the Central Square project of District 28-1.
