As AI gets better, what do employees need to do to 'survive'?

You used to think you were a good writer, had taste, knew how to program, and designed well. Then AI wrote better, edited photos better, and coded more logically. And so you started to wonder: When AI can do everything better, what are you good at?

Amidst the sea of technology, humans still create value regardless of AI.

AI is no longer just a tool. It is taking on the tasks that were once considered a testament to human ability: writing correctly, speaking well, presenting beautifully, analyzing logically, and even being creative.

People still make things. But the pride and attachment to the results of their labor is fading. More and more people are just "tool users" rather than "creators."

AI obscures the true value of workers

A new fairness seems to be being established: everyone has the right to use AI. Bad writers can write well, people who don't know how to edit videos can have great clips, first-year students can write reports as good as PhDs...

Individual skills are no longer a barrier. But the paradox begins to emerge.

When everyone can create beautiful products, society loses the ability to distinguish between the truly good and the just good at using tools. People who once took pride in their own abilities suddenly find themselves no longer standing out. Strengths are flattened by algorithms. The line between “good” and “AI-savvy” becomes increasingly blurred.

Even those who are good at using AI are confused: what skills are they developing? They only see one very real thing: the machine is working faster and they themselves are becoming more and more invisible in the process of creating the product.

If you don't want to be replaced, don't give everything to AI.

In the age of AI, “knowing how to use tools” is a basic skill. But being good is no longer defined by speed or smoothness. When anyone can make something that looks good and sounds good, the difference lies in choice: knowing when to use AI, and when to do it yourself.

The good people are not the ones who let machines do everything for them, but the ones who are sober enough to start from a blank page, not panic at the blank space, not give all their thoughts to algorithms. They do not dissolve into countless similar products created by the same tool.

They retain the one part that machines can't copy: their ego, their patience, and the feeling of creating something with their own hands, however slow, however imperfect, that is their own.

Because to survive in a machine-driven world , skills are not enough, you need courage to not lose yourself.
