On the afternoon of July 30, Vinh Long Power Company - Head of Emulation Block 1 held a conference to review the emulation and reward work in the first 6 months of the year, and deploy directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2024.

Emulation Block 1 (block of enterprises operating in the service sector) consists of 12 members: Vinh Long Electricity Company (Head of Block), Vinh Long Water Supply Joint Stock Company (Deputy Head of Block 1), Saigon Vinh Long Beer Joint Stock Company (Deputy Head of Block 2), Vinh Long Petroleum Company, Vinh Long Lottery One Member Co., Ltd., Vinh Long Public Works Joint Stock Company, Cuu Long Tourism Joint Stock Company, Saigon - Vinh Long Trading One Member Co., Ltd., Bao Viet Vinh Long Company, Bao Viet Life Insurance Vinh Long Company, Hoa Phu Joint Stock Company, Song Tien Joint Stock Company.

In the first 6 months of 2024, the units in the Bloc have done a good job of organizing emulation campaigns in conjunction with the production and business plans of the units, 5/12 units have revenue and profit reaching over 50% of the annual plan, fulfilling tax obligations to the State, paying fully and promptly according to regulations with an amount of 1,718 billion VND. Labor protection and fire prevention and fighting work are ensured; building civilized agencies; building families that meet cultural standards; increasing labor productivity, thereby increasing income for workers, the average income of most units in the Bloc is higher year after year than the previous year, the highest is 21 million VND/person/month. The units in the Bloc have actively participated and mobilized cadres, workers and employees to contribute 57,435 billion VND to local social activities.

At the conference, leaders of the units discussed and shared outstanding results, good experiences, and effective ways of doing things in the emulation process; proposed practical and effective tasks and solutions to successfully implement the emulation movement in 2024; reviewed and commented on the emulation regulations, targets, and criteria suitable to the general situation of the Bloc...

In the last 6 months of 2024, Emulation Block 1 identifies production and business tasks as the focus, continues to promote investment to improve productivity and product quality so that enterprises can develop effectively and sustainably, create more jobs, gradually improve the lives of workers, fulfill obligations to the State, actively mobilize employees in the unit to participate in social security work. Propaganda and mobilize employees to effectively carry out the emulation movement of excellent and creative workers, promote technical innovation initiatives, rationalize work to improve production and business efficiency, thereby contributing to the successful implementation of the emulation movement in 2024 of each unit.
