Prosecuted 2 subjects for illegally storing, transporting and trading explosives

The Investigation Security Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police has just issued a decision to prosecute and arrest Hua Thi Le (born in 1968, residing in Dong Ninh Hoa ward) and Tran Hong Son (born in 1972, residing in Phu Hoa 1 commune, Dak Lak province) to continue investigating and handling the act of illegally storing and transporting explosives.

The Investigation Security Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police executed an arrest warrant to detain suspect Hua Thi Le.

Previously, on the morning of November 3, Hua Thi Le used a motorbike to transport 36kg of explosives and 48m of slow-burning fuse from Bac Ninh Hoa commune to her home in Phu Tho 2 residential group, Dong Ninh Hoa ward to hide. When arriving at the intersection of DT652B road, Dong Ninh Hoa ward, Le was caught red-handed by the working group chaired by the Central Region Drug and Crime Prevention Task Force - Border Guard, in coordination with Khanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard, the Provincial Police Investigation Security Department and Dong Ninh Hoa Ward Police.

During a search of Le's residence, the authorities discovered a total of more than 509 kg of explosives, 207 m of slow-burning wire and 1,522 detonators. The subject confessed that he had purchased the above explosives to hide and resell for profit. During the process, Le hired Tran Hong Son (Le's brother-in-law) to help transport and hide the above explosives.

The Provincial Police Department of Security Investigation is continuing to investigate and expand the case.
