Based on the investigation results, the Security Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security has just initiated a criminal case for "Appropriation of State Secret Documents" occurring in Hanoi and other provinces and cities.

Simultaneously, a decision was issued to prosecute the suspect, an arrest warrant was issued for temporary detention, and a search warrant was issued for the residence of Mr. Nguyen Van Yen, former Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee (born in 1966, residing in Phu Thuong ward, Tay Ho district) to investigate the crime of "Appropriating State secret documents" as stipulated in Article 337 of the Penal Code.

Following approval from the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Security Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security served the Decision to prosecute the defendant, executed the Arrest Warrant for temporary detention, and searched the residence of defendant Nguyen Van Yen.

The case is currently being investigated by the Security Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security to be handled according to the law.

The Party Central Committee has disciplined two Party members . The Party Central Committee decided to remove Mr. Nguyen Van Yen from all his positions within the Party and expel Mr. Nguyen Dinh Kim from the Party.
