According to RT news agency, Mr. Trump was injured after gunshots were heard while he was giving a campaign speech in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13.
The former US president was quickly escorted off the stage by security. Photos showed blood on Mr Trump's right ear.

A witness told the BBC that he and his friends saw a man dressed in brown camouflage climbing onto the roof of a building with a rifle, and alerted the police.
“The Secret Service was watching us from the top of the warehouse, I pointed at that roof, and the next thing you know, five shots rang out,” the man said.
The witness added that after the man fired at Mr. Trump, “the US Secret Service shot the subject in the head.”
According to the White House, President Joe Biden was briefed on the incident at Mr. Trump's campaign rally.
