At the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025, Kia officially introduced the EV4 sedan version after its global debut in February. This is one of two body styles of the Kia EV4, besides the hatchback version. The 2025 Kia EV4 is an all-electric compact sedan that shares its design with the hatchback of the same name. It measures 4,730 mm long, 1,860 mm wide, 1,480 mm high and has a wheelbase of 2,820 mm – providing a spacious interior for the segment.
The car's luggage compartment has a capacity of 490 liters, suitable for daily use. The EV4 sedan's exterior has a simple but modern style, with 19-inch alloy wheels combined with 215/50R19 tires. The overall design of the 2025 Kia EV4 sedan is reminiscent of high-end urban sedans, but Kia has optimized aerodynamics to increase the operating efficiency of electric vehicles. The Kia EV4's cockpit impresses with a cluster of three seamless screens: 12.3-inch digital clock screen. 12.3-inch entertainment center screen. 5.3-inch air conditioning control screen.
Notable amenities include a Harman Kardon sound system, electrically adjustable front seats with heating, cooling, memory and relaxation mode, providing a premium experience for users. The Kia EV4 sedan uses a 400V electrical architecture – similar to the EV3 and EV5 models – instead of the 800V platform commonly found on Kia’s E-GMP electric vehicles. It is equipped with a single 204 PS electric motor, driving the front wheels. The base model uses a 58.3 kWh battery, giving it a range of 430 km, while the Long Range model uses an 81.4 kWh battery, giving it a range of 630 km according to the WLTP test standard. Both versions have a top speed of 170 km/h. Acceleration time from 0–100 km/h is 7.4 seconds for the Base model and 7.7 seconds for the Long Range version.
The EV4 supports 305 kW DC fast charging, charging from 10–80% battery in 29 minutes (Base) and 31 minutes (Long Range). With 11 kW AC charging, the charging time to 100% is 5 hours 20 minutes and 7 hours 15 minutes, respectively. The vehicle also supports V2L (3.6 kW) and V2G (10 kW) reverse charging. Regarding driving assistance technology, the Kia EV4 sedan has a series of equipment including: Highway Driving Assist 2, Driver Attention Warning, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist 2, Lane Keeping Assist 2, Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, Remote Parking Assist, and the i-Pedal 3.0 system that allows intelligent regenerative braking adjustment, operating even when the car is in reverse.
