Inspect non-public medical examination and treatment facilities, pharmaceutical businesses, food and nutrition products

Pursuant to Decision No. 253 of the Director of the Department of Health on inspection of compliance with laws and professional regulations of non-public medical examination and treatment facilities and pharmaceutical, food and nutritional product trading establishments in the province, the inspection team of the department led by Chief Inspector Tran Quang Hieu is conducting surprise inspections of non-public medical examination and treatment facilities and pharmaceutical, food and nutritional product trading establishments.

This activity will take place over 30 days, starting from April 26. It is expected that 40 establishments will be inspected. Depending on the size and type of the establishment, the delegation will select appropriate content, focusing on products recommended by the authorities.

The inspection activities aim to enhance the timely detection and handling of shortcomings and violations in medical examination and treatment, pharmaceutical business, food and nutrition products of non-public establishments in the province; analyze and evaluate the current status of operations in this field, thereby proposing solutions to improve the effectiveness of state management; help establishments comply with legal regulations, in order to improve the quality of operations... During the inspection process, the delegation encouraged good examples; proposed to clarify and consider handling administrative violations (if any) according to legal regulations. At the same time, the delegation focused on promoting propaganda and dissemination of relevant legal regulations.

In particular, during the inspection process, if information is received regarding other facilities showing clear signs of violations such as: unlicensed medical examination and treatment activities; advertising beyond the scope; signs of trading in counterfeit goods... then the chief inspector of the department will organize an inspection of that facility according to regulations.
