Effective testing, focusing on high-risk products

Implementing the plan of the Provincial Food Safety Steering Committee on the implementation of the "Food Safety Action Month" in 2025, the food safety inspection team chaired by the Department of Health, with the participation of the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Provincial Police and the Medical Centers of districts, towns and cities inspected 12 food production and processing establishments and 6 food service establishments in the province (inspection period from April 22 to May 14). The inspection activities focused on products with high risk of food safety loss.

Inspection results: Food production and trading establishments and food service establishments comply with food safety regulations in food business such as: having a certificate of qualified food safety facility; food traders have a self-certification of training in food safety knowledge, have a periodic health check-up certificate; clear expiration date and origin of food; food production and trading areas and food service establishments ensure hygiene and preserve food according to regulations. Pass rate: 100%.

The Department of Health requested the Provincial Interdisciplinary Steering Committee for Food Safety to direct departments , branches and localities to continue to strengthen propaganda,education and dissemination of legal knowledge on food safety , especially the Food Safety Law and related legal documents ; mobilize resources to participate in communication activities on food safety; strengthen inter-sectoral coordination in inspection, examination (mainly surprise inspections), and supervision of food quality at food production, processing and trading establishments and catering services in the province.
