Nationwide testing and sampling of weight loss products advertised by DJ Ngan 98

The Food Safety Department requests local market management departments, health departments, food safety departments of provinces and cities, and functional units to urgently inspect, review, and take samples from the market of a number of weight loss products advertised by DJ Ngan 98.

The Department of Food Safety ( Ministry of Health ) said that this agency has received a report from the Department of Food Safety of Ho Chi Minh City on the inspection and verification of the production, business and advertising activities of a number of weight loss products advertised by DJ Ngan 98, including the products: X1000, weight loss pills X3 (Super Detox X3), X7 plus.

The Food Safety Department requested localities to urgently inspect, review, and take samples from the market of some weight loss products advertised by DJ Ngan 98.

Through initial verification, distribution companies such as Zubu Trading and Service Company Limited and Ngan 98 Trading and Service Company Limited have temporarily suspended operations, are no longer physically present at the registered address and cannot be contacted. Therefore, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety has not been able to clearly verify whether the products of the above units are still circulating on the market or not.

The Food Safety Department has requested the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), local market management departments, health departments, food safety departments, food safety management boards and local food safety and hygiene departments to urgently inspect, review, take samples from the market and handle violations (if any) of the above products in accordance with regulations.

To prevent the risk of food safety, the Food Safety Department recommends that people should not buy or use food products named: X1000, weight loss pills X3 (Super detox X3), X7 plus (produced by Nano Tesla High-Tech Pharmaceutical Production Company Limited, located at Dan Phuong Industrial Park, Dan Phuong District, Hanoi ) while waiting for the authorities to complete the inspection and verification of the above products.

Previously, the Food Safety Department also said that through checking on the online public service software, the Food Safety Department did not issue any advertising content confirmation certificates for the products with the above names.
