Checking support for construction and repair of temporary and dilapidated houses in some localities

On May 8 and 9, the Inspection Teams of the Steering Committee for the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Hung Yen province inspected and urged the implementation of support for the construction of new houses and repair of temporary and dilapidated houses in Hung Yen province in 2025 in the districts of Phu Cu, Khoai Chau, Van Lam, Tien Lu, Hung Yen city and My Hao town.

In localities, the Inspection Teams inspected the households that received support to remove temporary and dilapidated houses. At the same time, they inspected the direction, implementation, and organization of the construction and repair of temporary and dilapidated houses at the district level; the work of reviewing the subjects, identifying households eligible for support; the progress and results of implementation; the work of mobilizing resources to participate in support, etc.

Conducting field inspections at households receiving support for building new, repairing temporary and dilapidated houses and working with the Steering Committees of districts, towns and cities, representatives of the Inspection Teams acknowledged the active participation of localities. In particular, Tien Lu district is the first locality in the province to complete the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses 1 month earlier than the province's plan. At the same time, it is recommended that localities focus on urging to speed up the progress, allocating support funds to families according to the principles of publicity and transparency... with the goal of completing the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province in May this year.

Through inspections, the inspection teams have grasped the progress of implementation in localities; promptly supported the removal of difficulties and obstacles; and at the same time, disciplined localities and units with work contents that did not ensure progress and quality according to regulations.
