Resolutely carry out propaganda and mass mobilization work well in the new situation

On the afternoon of April 9, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission held a conference to review propaganda and mass mobilization work in the first quarter and deploy tasks for the second quarter of 2025. Comrade Nong Thi Bich Hue, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Culture and Social Affairs Commission chaired the conference.

In the first quarter, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization sector of the whole province closely followed the direction of the Central and Provincial Party Committees, proactively and creatively implementing tasks. Propaganda work was deployed comprehensively, synchronously and effectively. The whole sector performed well the role of advising the Party Committee in directing political and ideological education work, propagating the Party's resolutions, directives and conclusions. Propaganda activities to celebrate major holidays, important political events, new policies such as tuition exemption, social security support were deployed promptly, creating high consensus in society.

The work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation has been promoted, with many solutions to combat and refute wrong views and bad and toxic information on cyberspace. The work of political theory, Party history, foreign information, and orientation of public opinion has been strengthened. The work of advising on the organization of specialized study conferences, competitions to learn about the Party and Ho Chi Minh's ideology, etc. has been carried out systematically and extensively.

The industry has also actively promoted the implementation of major policies such as: streamlining the apparatus, merging administrative units, digital transformation, eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses...

Mass mobilization work continues to be effectively implemented, contributing to building the great national unity bloc. The entire sector has advised the Party Committee to effectively implement ethnic and religious policies and guidelines; promote the role of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; effectively implement patriotic emulation movements, especially the "Skillful Mass Mobilization" movement.

Comrade Nong Thi Bich Hue, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, delivered a concluding speech at the conference.

Activities with the people at the grassroots level were promoted with the participation of over 24,000 cadres and party members. Issues of public concern such as administrative unit mergers, site clearance, temporary housing removal, digital transformation, etc. were promptly disseminated and mobilized, creating consensus among the people.

At the conference, delegates discussed and analyzed the difficulties and limitations and proposed many solutions to improve the quality of propaganda and mass mobilization work in the coming time. In particular, delegates focused on discussing the difficulties in the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses; propaganda work to orient public opinion on streamlining the apparatus and merging administrative units in the districts...

In her concluding remarks at the conference, Comrade Nong Thi Bich Hue emphasized that in the past time, the whole industry has thoroughly grasped the motto of action in 2025 "Determined - Solidarity - Innovation - Responsibility - Efficiency"; focused on the tasks of extensive propaganda, creating social consensus on organizational arrangement, provincial merger, preparing for party congresses at all levels; promoting political and ideological education, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, Resolution 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

Timely inform about specific, creative and effective solutions and methods in implementing the emulation movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province". Promote the core role of the team of reporters and propagandists in orienting public opinion and strengthening people's trust.

After the conference, all levels, sectors and units urgently concretized the action program and work plan in line with the practical situation for serious and effective implementation. At the same time, constantly innovate thinking, be flexible in implementation methods, ensuring that propaganda and mass mobilization work is always the core force on the ideological - political front and mass work of the Party.
