(BL-NQ) On the afternoon of May 12, 2025, the Central Party Office held an online conference to implement the direction of the Central Party Secretariat on archiving and managing documents in the process of reorganizing the apparatus of the local political system.

According to Official Dispatch 64, dated April 10, 2025 of the Central Party Secretariat, all documents and document databases (collectively referred to as documents) of Party committees, agencies, Party organizations, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at the provincial, district and communal levels must be strictly managed after their operations are completed to prevent damage, loss, misplacement or illegal destruction. All documents must be fully collected, edited and submitted to the Provincial Party Historical Archives.
During the process of submitting and receiving documents, relevant agencies and organizations must check, compare, make records, safely preserve, maintain confidentiality, and not tamper with documents of agencies and organizations.
Agencies and organizations must ensure the necessary resources (organization, personnel, warehouses, equipment, funding, etc.) for the submission, receipt, and management of documents; have a plan to improve the Party's historical archives at the provincial level and the archives of agencies and organizations right in the process of developing a project to arrange administrative units and organize the apparatus of the local political system.
At the conference, the Central Party Office provided guidance to localities on document storage and management; document digitization, packaging, and data backup; and guidance on digitizing state secret documents. The conference also devoted a lot of time for delegates to discuss and answer questions.
