Kien Giang won silver medal at 2025 beach volleyball tournament

Two athletes from Kien Giang, Mai Hong Hanh and Le Vu Hoang Kim Phung (top row, left cover) received silver medals.

After the youth tournament, the teams continued to compete in the national championship. The tournament closed and awards were presented on March 22.

The 2025 Beach Volleyball Youth and National Championships are organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam province in coordination with the Vietnam Sports Administration, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation and the People's Committee of Tam Ky City (Quang Nam).

The tournament attracted nearly 200 athletes from provinces, cities and sectors with strong beach volleyball movements such as Phu Yen, Ben Tre, Long An, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Hai Phong, Kien Giang, Military Region 5, Khanh Hoa and Ba Ria - Vung Tau.

The tournament aims to evaluate the training and education of beach volleyball athletes in provinces, cities and sectors nationwide; at the same time, select outstanding faces for national teams to participate in the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand at the end of 2025 and participate in international competitions in the coming time.
