Kien Tuong: Handing over 14 Great Solidarity houses in the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses

Kien Tuong town has mobilized many resources to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.

On April 23, the Steering Committee for the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Long An province coordinated with Kien Tuong town to organize the handover ceremony of Great Unity houses under the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025.

Implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the Prime Minister, after a period of urgent construction, up to now, the whole Long An province has handed over 207 Great Solidarity houses to poor and near-poor households , each house is supported with 80 million VND. Kien Tuong town alone has completed 14 houses so far.

Supporting the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses is a deeply humane act, demonstrating the responsibility of the entire political system and the solidarity of the whole society. At the same time, it promotes the combined strength of socialized resources, organizations, businesses and contributions from the people.

Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long An province and Kien Tuong town presented meaningful gifts to families on the occasion of the house handover ceremony.

Currently, the Provincial Steering Committee for the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses has issued a plan and identified support objects for the implementation of the second phase, planning to build 208 houses, striving to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province by the end of 2025./.
