Kim Thanh basically completed site clearance for the East-West district road project phase 2.

The East-West axis road construction project of Kim Thanh district, phase 2, is invested by the Kim Thanh district Investment and Construction Project Management Board.

Currently, the project to build the East-West axis road in Kim Thanh district, phase 2, still has 17 households carrying out site clearance. Site clearance work is expected to be completed before June 30.

According to the People's Committee of Kim Thanh district, by May 25, the locality had basically completed site clearance for the project to build the East-West district axis road and the branch to the National Highway 5 overpass intersection, phase 2.

Specifically, the district has paid compensation to 565 households with recovered land areas, trees and crops on the land with a total amount of more than 80 billion VND in the communes of Kim Anh, Kim Tan, Ngu Phuc, Tam Ky and Dong Cam.

The district also decided to provide support according to the provisions of Clause 2, Article 108, Land Law 2024 for 17 households to serve the work of land acquisition, compensation and site clearance in the communes of Kim Anh, Ngu Phuc, Kim Tan with the amount of 1.96 billion VND.

The District Compensation and Site Clearance Council has completed the inventory of residential land area; issued a decision approving specific residential land prices to calculate compensation for the remaining 17 households with recovered land area in Kim Tan and Dong Cam communes; and developed a resettlement plan for 1 household in Kim Tan commune.

Kim Thanh strives to complete project site clearance before June 30.

The East-West axis road construction project of Kim Thanh district, phase 2, is invested by the Kim Thanh district Investment and Construction Project Management Board. The project has a total investment of 612 billion VND (306 billion VND from the provincial budget and 306 billion VND from the district budget).

The project started construction at the end of 2024. It is expected to be completed and put into use by the end of 2025, ensuring the construction plan. To implement the project, Kim Thanh district must reclaim 233,090 ^m2 of land with nearly 600 households of 6 communes: Kim Anh, Ngu Phuc, Kim Tan, Dong Cam and Tam Ky.

The above project has a total length of about 12 km, passing through 5 communes of Kim Anh, Ngu Phuc, Kim Tan, Dong Cam, Tam Ky.
