An Thang ward's economy maintains a fairly good growth rate.

DNO - On the morning of August 15, the People's Council of An Thang Ward, term I, 2021 - 2026, held the 2nd meeting to discuss the submissions and reports on the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security in the first 6 months of the year; directions, tasks and solutions for the last 6 months of 2025. The meeting gave opinions on the budget revenue and expenditure plan, the plan to implement basic construction tasks for the last 6 months of 2025 and the report approving the investment portfolio of a number of projects in the 2021-2025 period and in 2025.

Approving the proposal to approve the staffing of officials and civil servants of agencies and organizations under the People's Council and People's Committee of the ward; the number of employees in public service units under the People's Committee of An Thang ward from July 1, 2025.

The Ward People's Council presented a report responding to voters' opinions before the regular mid-year meeting of the Ward People's Council in 2025. Of which, 7 petitions have been resolved and 33 petitions of voters are being resolved, focusing on the following areas: agriculture , rural areas; land, resources, environment; electricity, water, telecommunications; planning, industry, trade, basic construction, traffic infrastructure; security, order, traffic safety; budget, tax and culture - society, health, education.

Reporting at the meeting, the Ward People's Committee said that in the first 6 months of 2025, the economic situation continued to maintain a good growth rate. Total budget revenue in Dien An Ward (old) reached more than 9.5 billion VND, Dien Thang Trung Ward (old) reached 27.7 billion VND, Dien Thang Nam Ward (old) reached more than 13.8 billion VND; industrial production value increased compared to the same period.

Social security is ensured, people's lives are improved; national defense is strengthened, political security is maintained.

In the last 6 months of 2025, the Ward People's Committee will continue to effectively implement economic development solutions according to the 2025 growth plan of the Da Nang City People's Committee.
