Donated over 55.4 million VND to help two lonely elderly people in Kien Xuong commune

On August 15, Hung Yen Volunteer Team coordinated with the Provincial Red Cross to visit and give more than 55.4 million VND and a standing fan to Mrs. Ha Thi Than (81 years old) and Mrs. Ha Thi Nhung (75 years old), residing at house number 25/209, Tran Nhan Tong street, Kien Xuong commune.

Hung Yen Volunteer Team and Provincial Red Cross Society visited the families of Ha Thi Than and Ha Thi Nhung.

Both are sisters, unmarried, childless, poor, and depend on each other. Mrs. Nhung suffered a serious accident, broke many bones, injured her cervical spine, and suffered a herniated disc. She is now paralyzed and unable to take care of herself. Mrs. Than just had colon surgery, is in poor health, and has difficulty moving around.

The money raised from benefactors is a great source of encouragement, helping the two elderly people cover treatment and living expenses.

Representatives of Hung Yen Volunteer Team presented donations from benefactors to Ha Thi Than and Ha Thi Nhung.
