
On November 11, Can Tho City Police organized a Conference to meet and connect influential people on cyberspace, administrators of pages, channels, associations, and groups in Can Tho City with the theme "Spreading digital trust, building a safe and healthy online environment". Colonel Nguyen Van Thang, Deputy Director of Can Tho City Police attended and chaired the conference.
The conference was attended by leaders of city departments, branches, sectors, organizations and nearly 200 delegates who are influencers on social networks, administrators of local channels and groups.
The program aims to propagate and guide legal regulations on network security; raise awareness and skills in managing digital content; and ensure compliance with the law when operating in the network environment.

The networking space at the conference creates conditions for KOLs and administrators to exchange experiences in content creation, share positive communication models, spread good values and contribute to building a safe and healthy network environment.
The conference also laid the foundation for voluntary cooperation between KOLs - businesses - platforms - management agencies, aiming at the values: honesty, transparency, respect for the law, honoring identity and creativity for the community.
In his opening speech, Colonel Nguyen Van Thang assessed that cyberspace with its outstanding achievements in science and technology has become an inseparable part of people's lives today, but it also has many potential risks when it is exploited to spread bad, toxic, false information, defraud property or insult organizations and individuals...

He emphasized that KOLs and administrators currently play an important role in orienting public opinion, creating content and operating channels with large followings. This is a resource that has a direct impact on ensuring security and order in local cyberspace.
These are the people who directly build, set up, manage, and operate pages, channels, and groups with a large number of followers. They are the people who directly create digital content, launch new trends, and contribute to orienting public opinion.
“Can Tho City Police organized a conference to meet and connect influencers and administrators of pages, channels, and groups with the theme 'Spreading digital trust, building a safe and healthy online environment', and at the same time launched the Fanpage and Zalo group 'Digital Trust - Can Tho' to propagate and guide legal regulations on network security, support information management, and guide the creation of content that complies with the law.
The conference is also an opportunity for KOLs and administrators to connect, exchange creative experiences, share effective ways to spread positive information and contribute to creating a safe and healthy online environment," Colonel Nguyen Van Thang informed.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Minh Tuan - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City said that the city currently has about 3 million social network users, of which KOLs and influencers account for a significant proportion and have a strong impact on community awareness and behavior trends.
They not only create content, but also become a bridge to spread the image of Can Tho as a friendly and affectionate place, promote local culture, typical products and life in the Mekong Delta. This is also an important force accompanying the tourism industry in building the brand "Can Tho - a cultural destination of the Mekong Delta".
The topics presented at the conference focused on the practice of fighting and handling law violations in cyberspace in Can Tho; the Party and State's policies on protecting cyber security; the role of KOLs in protecting national security; promoting the influence of KOLs in promoting culture, tourism and local image...



On this occasion, Can Tho City Police launched the Fanpage and Zalo group "Digital Trust - Can Tho" to provide information and guidance on legal regulations on network security, support information management to protect personal data and network security for users.
At the same time, the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention informed about the model of "Digital Trust Alliance" and "Cyber Influencer Trust Program".
Within the framework of the program, KOLs continued to sign a commitment to comply with the law and code of conduct when operating in cyberspace. This commitment specifies the responsibility of each individual in building a safe and civilized digital environment, contributing to protecting national security and interests and promoting sustainable development in the digital age.
