Speaking at the conference, Major General Nguyen Tung Hung emphasized: The conference aims to create an academic and practical forum where scientists , experts, and managers share experiences, introduce research results and new technological solutions in ensuring information security, network security, and digital transformation.
According to Major General Nguyen Tung Hung, ensuring information security today does not stop at “defense” but must aim at “active – smart – automated defense”, with the ability to detect early, accurately forecast and quickly respond to attack risks. Along with that, the application of AI, big data, new generation cryptography and Blockchain opens up creative directions in monitoring, managing and protecting data resources – the core element of the digital economy .
The workshop received 23 enthusiastic and intellectual presentations from leaders, commanders, scientists from agencies, units, and schools inside and outside the Army, showing special interest and a high sense of responsibility for the cause of science and technology development in particular and the work of ensuring information security for the sustainable development of the country in general.

The presentations and opinions at the workshop approached the issue in a multidimensional way, both in terms of scientific depth and in relation to practical implementation in agencies, units and enterprises. The presentations and opinions focused on clarifying three core contents: Identifying new technology trends and the impact of artificial intelligence on standards and methods of cyberspace protection. Shaping a secure data management model, considering data as a strategic asset and core infrastructure of the digital economy. Solutions to ensure safety for automated control infrastructure (OT/ICS) - a field under great pressure from non-traditional threats.
And comprehensive solutions to improve cybersecurity capacity, innovate security thinking, move towards proactive technology, develop new generation cryptography, and apply Blockchain technology in drones.
The contents mentioned at the workshop have gradually pointed out the shift from "passive defense" to "active, intelligent and creative protection", while affirming the key role of scientific and technological research in building capacity to ensure information security, network security and national digital transformation; proposing solutions and technology models to ensure effective and sustainable network security, contributing practically to the cause of protecting national cyberspace and developing a safe and sustainable digital country of Vietnam.
