Searching for Vietnamese artificial intelligence talents through practical AI playgrounds

Under the direction of the Ministry of Public Security , the “Practical AI” competition jointly organized by the National Data Center, the National Data Association, Vietnam Television (VTV) and Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) is considered the first national-scale AI playground on national television. The program contributes to realizing the national goal of digital transformation, making Vietnam a regional innovation and data center, while attracting and nurturing Vietnamese AI talents, creating an environment for “make in Vietnam” AI ideas to be developed and applied in practice.

With 12 excellent teams selected from nearly 400 applications, including 9 countries around the world, "Practical AI" promises to bring intense competitions, highly applicable AI products, solving practical problems of socio-economic life.

The first episode of “Practical AI” will officially air at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday on VTV2 on November 19, 2025 and rebroadcast on VTV3 and VTV4.

The jury brings together many leading domestic and foreign experts.

Not only an academic competition, the jury panel brings together leading experts in the fields of AI, data and digital transformation, who are not only knowledgeable in their field but also have many years of experience implementing technology projects at the international level, ensuring academic quality, high applicability, and comprehensive evaluation of the products.
