Colonel Pham Minh Chien, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Brigade 125 chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were commanders of affiliated agencies and units and more than 180 officers and soldiers of the Brigade.

The activity aims to propagate, raise awareness and responsibility of officers and soldiers in using social networks safely and in accordance with regulations; increase vigilance, proactively prevent and combat fraudulent tricks to appropriate assets, collect personal information, spread fake news, distortions and falsehoods on cyberspace. Thereby, contributing to maintaining internal political security, building a healthy and safe network environment, and successfully completing all assigned tasks.

During the meeting, officers and soldiers of Brigade 125 watched videos about current scams on social networks; listened to documents on law enforcement and discipline in recent times; and listened to propaganda documents on ensuring network safety and security.

In his speech, Colonel Pham Minh Chien, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Brigade 125, requested agencies, units, officers and soldiers to strengthen propaganda, education and management of the use of social networks in the unit; each soldier must absolutely comply with information security regulations, not post, comment, or share unofficial information or information related to the organization, staffing, and tasks of the unit; raise vigilance, proactively prevent and protect themselves and their teammates, not to be lured, enticed, or lose vigilance, contributing to "creating collective immunity" against the sophisticated tricks of high-tech criminals.

The Brigade's Political Commissar directed agencies and units, especially ships operating at sea and undergoing repairs at factories, to organize activities closely and seriously to replicate effectiveness, contributing to building a strong, comprehensive "Exemplary, typical" unit, successfully completing assigned tasks.
