Singer Tung Duong released the album “The Voice - Timeless” with songs that have existed for decades.

With the album “The Voice - Timeless”, Tung Duong returns with a delicate, expressive singing style, cherishing the beauty of each sound in his voice as well as each note. The album includes 8 songs: “Alone” (Lam Phuong); “Lonely” (Nguyen Anh 9); “Sad” (Pham Duy – Huy Can); “Noi long nguoi di” (Anh Bang); “Rieng mot goc troi” (Ngo Thuy Mien); “Dau chan dia dang”, “Lu ta ngam ngu” (Trinh Cong Son); “Kiep nao co yeu nhau” (Pham Duy – Minh Duc Hoai Trinh).

The project's music director - musician Hong Kien brought a minimalist, warm and classical spirit to the album so that Tung Duong could express the best of his voice, but still show a difference in the way the singer approaches songs that have existed for decades.

Musician Hong Kien takes on the role of Music Project Director for Tung Duong this time.

Musician Hong Kien shared that making a vinyl record is of course difficult and making a product for Tung Duong is even more difficult, especially the pressure of choosing songs, finding arrangements and creating the overall look of the album.

“Recently, Tung Duong has made quite a lot of music products. I still jokingly tell Tung Duong that he doesn’t call me for anything easy or fast, but if it’s difficult, he “invites” me to do it. But clearly Tung Duong’s voice is at its peak at this time, combined with his experience and careful research on music and singing style, it seems like Tung Duong flies on the mixes, sometimes harmonious, sometimes leisurely, sometimes fierce, very versatile. With this project, it can be said that Tung Duong keeps his singing simple and genuine, less ornate, not too much use of technology,” said musician Hong Kien.

Tung Duong said that his musical path has always been: "Creation - honor - creation", if there is honor, there must be creation and vice versa. "I have many directions, have transformed with many different music genres, now it doesn't matter what genre it is anymore, I sing with all my heart, sing to the end, and bring out the essence of that music genre. This year, the artists are all excited and happy because they can sing to welcome A50, A80, I am also honored to sing a lot of red music, homeland music this year. But it is impossible to bring the heroic spirit to singing old music because the musical space, the space of works are different throughout history. This is the opening vinyl for the series that Tung Duong will make, wanting to express gratitude to the musicians of the previous generation", the male singer shared.

Also at the album launch, representative of the Vietnam Musicians Association - musician Giang Son awarded the Gold Medal certificate to singer Tung Duong for participating in the 2025 National Open Music Festival (taking place in Ho Chi Minh City from October 29 to November 2).
