For the first time in history, the Hanoi Opera House temporarily closed its daily performance doors to become its own "stage". The entire space, from the lobby, stairs, auditorium to the dome, was "awakened" by light, images and sounds, recreating memories of more than a century of architectural heritage.

Hanoi Opera House becomes the stage where 115 years of heritage are recreated in the contemporary language of light and technology.

The project was organized at the right time when the theater was about to enter the restoration phase, as an emotional tribute and farewell. Not only an artistic event, this is also an effort to connect history - art - technology, transforming the Hanoi Opera House from "heritage to admire" to "a living space to experience".
The exhibition (produced by Hexogon Vietnam Company in collaboration with Hanoi Opera House) uses advanced performance technologies such as 3D mapping, hologram, augmented reality (AR) and multi-layer storytelling art, promising to bring the public an immersive experience - where the boundary between the audience and the performance space is blurred. With a structure of 4 chapters, corresponding to the 115-year journey of Hanoi Opera House, viewers not only observe but also immerse themselves in the flow of the story, interact with space and light, and feel history in the language of the digital age.
Regarding this unique art project, Mr. Ngo Xuan Minh, Director of Hexogon Vietnam, said that 115 years of storytelling theater - Heritage speaks with light and technology is not commercial, but was created with the desire to bring art closer to the public. In each frame of light, each melody of sound, people can find a part of the memory of the capital.
For Hanoi, this is an opportunity to affirm its position as an international cultural and creative center, where heritage is told through the language of technology, both honoring the past and opening up the future. For the cultural sector, the project is a model of "heritage storytelling through technology", proving that preservation is not only about preserving, but also about reviving and spreading values through digital creativity.
