In the context of the ongoing Fourth Industrial Revolution globally, the application of information technology, digital transformation, and innovation has become an inevitable trend, contributing to improved productivity, quality, and efficiency in all fields. For the armed forces, especially in training, combat readiness, and the development of a modern and professional force, digital transformation is no longer a foreign concept, but is being gradually concretized through practical actions.
Regiment 2, Division 395 is one of the leading exemplary units in the emulation movement to promote digital transformation, apply science and technology, and innovate in the performance of political tasks.
Proactive awareness, decisive implementation.
From the beginning of the year, the Party Committee and command of Regiment 2 clearly identified digital transformation, technology application, and innovation as key tasks, closely linked to improving training quality, combat readiness, building a regular and disciplined military force, and reforming military administration. Based on this, the Regiment issued a specific action plan, assigning clear tasks to subordinate agencies and units; and simultaneously implemented extensive propaganda and indoctrination among all officers and soldiers regarding the role, importance, and objectives of digital transformation in the Army.

Regiment 2, Division 395 is one of the leading exemplary units in the emulation movement to promote digital transformation. |
With the motto "Taking one step at a time, but steadily, effectively, and in accordance with the unit's practical realities," the Regiment focuses first on areas with high potential for digital application such as: document management, training, logistics and technical support, emulation and reward, and political education .
Application of information technology in management and administration.
One notable advancement is the Regiment's digitization of its document and record management, which has streamlined, made more transparent, and more efficient in handling tasks. The issuance, storage, and retrieval of documents are now conducted through an internal system, significantly reducing the time and manpower required for administrative work.
In addition, training plan management software has been widely implemented from the battalion to the regiment level. Through this, commanders at all levels can monitor progress, adjust content, and update test results visually and accurately. The training data system has also been digitized, from multiple-choice question banks to electronic lesson plans and simulated training videos.
Innovate the content and methods of training.
Recognizing training as its central task, Regiment 2 has continuously innovated its teaching content and methods towards modernization. Shooting simulators, virtual reality models for tactical training, 3D-based situational exercises, and PowerPoint presentations containing moving videos and images have been incorporated into practical training to meet the requirements of visual and vivid learning, enabling soldiers to better understand the features, structure, and dynamics of various weapons and technical equipment.

| The Party Committee and command of Regiment 2 have clearly identified digital transformation, technology application, and innovation as key priorities. |
The application of technology helps soldiers hone their situational handling skills, enhance their combat thinking, and minimize risks in field training. Evaluations show that training sessions using new technologies have achieved high results and ensured absolute safety.
Promoting the movement for innovation and technical initiatives.
The "Every Officer and Soldier a Creative Idea" emulation movement has been widely implemented by Regiment 2, attracting enthusiastic participation from officers, union members, and soldiers. Since the beginning of the year, the entire Regiment has had dozens of initiatives applied in practice, many of which have won awards at the division-level competition.
A prime example is the initiative "QR code model containing prescribed songs in the Army, combined with traditional songs of the Military Region, Division, Regiment, and unit, and 5 new dances issued by the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army...". These initiatives are not only highly practical but also significantly save budget, training time, and enhance the combat readiness of units.
Enhancing digital capabilities for officers and soldiers.
One of the key pillars in digital transformation is people. The regiment has focused on organizing training courses to enhance the knowledge and skills of officers and soldiers in using information technology. The training content focuses on skills in using management software, office applications, information security, and using digital equipment to support command, management, and training.
In addition, Regiment 2 also established digital support teams and digital skills consulting teams in its units to help and guide members who were not yet familiar with the technology to understand and perform computer operations effectively. Furthermore, every evening, after reading newspapers, listening to news, and watching current events, the Regiment also instructed its units to organize training sessions for soldiers on digital transformation.

Furthermore, the Regiment encourages young officers and soldiers with technological aptitude to enroll in online courses, self-study via the internet, and participate in internal research groups to share knowledge and support each other in their studies and work.
Difficulties, challenges, and the determination to overcome them.
Despite achieving many positive results, the digital transformation process at Regiment 2 still faces numerous challenges. Some units are stationed in areas with unstable network infrastructure; the technological proficiency of some officers and soldiers remains limited; and the investment in equipment and software is still insufficient to meet the needs.
However, with a proactive, creative spirit and high determination, the Regiment has gradually overcome obstacles, prioritized investment in key projects, made maximum use of available resources, and closely coordinated with specialized agencies of the Division to implement solutions synchronously.
Building on the achievements made, in the coming period, Regiment 2 will continue to:
Promoting comprehensive digitalization in command, control, training, and logistics and technical support;
Expanding the scope of application of specialized software, connecting internal databases and linking with operational information systems;
Organizing sports events, innovation competitions, and scientific research competitions at the regimental level;
Strengthen cooperation with training and research institutions inside and outside the military to receive technology transfer and update on new trends;
Building a team of cadres who are both politically sound and professionally competent, capable of mastering technology and leading digital transformation within the organization.
Digital transformation, the application of science and technology, and innovation are not only inevitable trends but also crucial driving forces for improving the overall quality and combat strength of the armed forces. With sound leadership, high determination, and innovative approaches, the Party Committee and command of Regiment 2 are gradually asserting their position as a pioneering unit in this field, contributing to building a "lean, efficient, and strong" Vietnam People's Army, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
