After the flood receded, Military Region 4 mobilized more than 7,000 officers, soldiers, and militiamen from Division 968 and the Hue City Military Command, along with many vehicles and materials, divided into many mobile teams to wards, communes, schools, medical facilities, and traditional markets... to support cleaning, environmental sanitation, waste collection, disinfection, and repair of damaged infrastructure.

At the destinations, Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh kindly visited and praised the spirit of urgency, dedication, and high responsibility of officers and soldiers of Division 968 and other forces.

Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh requested units to continue promoting the spirit of "where the water recedes, clean up there", proactively coordinate closely with local authorities and forces, check deeply flooded areas, concentrate human resources and means to support people in clearing mud, collecting garbage, disinfecting residential areas, schools, and medical stations; at the same time, help repair and clean equipment, desks, chairs, and classrooms so that students can return to school soon, ensuring safety and health for people after the flood.

On this occasion, Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh presented gifts to encourage officers and soldiers directly on duty to help people overcome the consequences of floods, and also presented gifts, sent condolences and sympathies to teachers, doctors, and traders who suffered losses due to natural disasters.

Also during the working session, comrade Phan Quy Phuong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City, awarded the Certificate of Merit of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City to officers and soldiers of Division 968 for their outstanding achievements in flood prevention and overcoming in the area, contributing to the city's government and people to soon restore normal life after natural disasters.
