Colonel Vu Dinh Hien, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Region chaired the conference.

At the conference, agencies and units heard reports on the weather situation, especially the developments and forecasts of the impact of storm Kalmaegi and plans to implement storm prevention and control tasks in the entire region.

Colonel Vu Dinh Hien, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Naval Region 3, delivered a speech directing the conference.

In his directive speech, Colonel Vu Dinh Hien requested agencies and units to regularly grasp the developments of the storm, promote a proactive spirit, promptly deploy and do a good job of preparing in all aspects to be ready to prevent and respond promptly to any situation that may arise, and not be subjective.

Proactively deploy forces and means according to the motto "3 readiness" (ready to proactively prevent; ready to respond promptly; ready to overcome urgently and effectively) and "4 on-site" (on-site command; on-site forces; on-site means and materials; on-site logistics).

Be ready to deploy forces and means to respond quickly, promptly and effectively handle situations that may arise when a storm arrives, ensuring absolute safety for people and vehicles in the unit. Coordinate closely with forces to organize propaganda, calling on boats and fishermen to take shelter.
