Brigade 680 (Naval Region 3) joins hands to help Da Nang people clean up floods

On November 1, Brigade 680 (Navy Region 3) mobilized 70 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities to help people overcome the consequences of floods in Ha Nha commune (Da Nang city).

Ha Nha is one of 10 communes and wards of Da Nang city flooded and isolated in the rain and floods.

The floodwaters left behind a mess of garbage and mud at schools, medical stations, and public areas.

The forces sprayed and cleaned the school yard.

Directly commanding the troops, Colonel Pham Van Toan, Brigade Commander of Brigade 680, said: Officers and soldiers of the unit coordinated with other forces to help schools, medical stations, commune People's Committees, policy families, families with dependents... to clean up the environment, collect mud, garbage, clean houses, stabilize daily life, and prepare to welcome students back to class.

On this occasion, the commander of Brigade 680 presented 40 gifts from the Naval Region 3 Command (including 30 million VND in cash, 50 kg of dry food and 20 kg of vermicelli) to households severely affected by floods in Ha Nha commune.
