- On the morning of June 6, at the National Assembly House, under the chairmanship and direction of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man , continuing the Question and Answer Session Program at the 7th Session, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, on behalf of the Government, clarified issues in 4 groups of questions and directly answered questions from National Assembly deputies. The session was televised and broadcast live for voters and people to follow.

At the question-and-answer session, the National Assembly deputies asked Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha to clarify the Government's solutions for university autonomy in the coming time; solutions for wind power plants to operate well; the Government's direction to handle mineral resource exploitation activities to restore the environment; orientation and price management in the coming time to ensure the goal of controlling inflation; highlights in institutional reform; solutions to overcome challenges in recovering production and business, stabilizing economic and social life; solutions to develop technology to serve the semiconductor industry; solutions to promote the development of the network of geoparks in Vietnam; solutions to develop Vietnam in the current digital economy and digital society; clarify the current situation of ensuring electricity supply, especially electricity supply through the direct renewable electricity trading mechanism; priority solutions for the country's economic development;...

Questioning Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, delegate Luu Ba Mac, National Assembly Delegation of Lang Son province, said that in order to continue to contribute to enhancing the value as well as promoting Vietnam's cultural heritage and tourism resources to international friends, in 2014, the Project "Conservation of geological heritage, development and management of the network of geoparks in Vietnam" was approved by the Prime Minister under Decision No. 1590/QD-TTg. Currently, Vietnam has 3 UNESCO global geoparks. At the same time, a number of localities, including Lang Son province, have been and are in the process of building and developing global geoparks.

However, according to delegate Luu Ba Mac, from 2014 to now, there has been no system of legal documents, nor any mechanism or policy to support the implementation of the above project. The delegate asked the Deputy Prime Minister to inform about the solutions in the coming time to promote the process of building, developing and managing the network of geoparks in Vietnam, thereby contributing to stimulating demand, recovering and developing sustainable tourism in the coming time?
Responding to the question of delegate Luu Ba Mac, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha said that currently the whole country has only 3 large-scale and wide-ranging geological heritage parks, but Vietnam has no experience in conservation, management and exploitation. Initially, a plan has been developed and a number of programs and projects have been proposed for implementation. The current problem is that there is no clear demarcation of which areas are absolutely protected, which areas are buffer zones and which areas are buffer zones. The Deputy Prime Minister said that it is necessary to immediately implement infrastructure development projects to easily access these works; strengthen international cooperation, learn from experiences in exploiting geological parks in countries around the world...

At the end of the question and answer session, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that after 2.5 days of serious and responsible work, the National Assembly had completed the entire question and answer session program at the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly with 4 groups of issues under the main responsibility of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment; Minister of Industry and Trade; Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the State Auditor General.
At the question and answer session, 193 National Assembly deputies spoke (of which 162 deputies questioned and 31 deputies debated); 160 deputies had registered but were not allowed to speak due to time running out. The National Assembly Chairman requested that the National Assembly deputies send their questions to the Prime Minister, members of the Government, and heads of sectors for written responses according to regulations.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized: The questioning contents have met practical requirements, are "correct" and "hit" the issues that voters, people nationwide and National Assembly deputies are interested in; continuing to affirm that this is a direct and effective form of supreme supervision of the National Assembly.
The question and answer session took place in a lively, democratic, frank and constructive spirit. Through their practical activities, the National Assembly deputies grasped the situation, carefully studied the reports, raised questions, and debated briefly, clearly, practically, and went straight to the issues. Through the question and answer process, the National Assembly deputies frankly pointed out the shortcomings and limitations, clearly analyzed the causes and proposed solutions, with the hope that the Government, ministries and branches would continue to have more appropriate, drastic and effective solutions for the rapid and sustainable development of the country, meeting the trust and expectations of voters and people nationwide.
