Participating in the summer playground and receiving a gift of a school bag and a new set of textbooks, Nguyen Thi Diem My - a student of class 5/4, Vinh Dieu Secondary School shared: “My family is in difficult circumstances, at the beginning of this new school year, I still haven't been able to buy a new set of books. I was very happy to receive a new set of books and a new bag from the union members! Today, I also got to participate in the playground, read many good books and comics, it was very fun and useful. I hope that in the future, the union members will organize more playgrounds like this so that I and my friends can have the opportunity to play and interact.”

Taking place in parallel with the campaign is the activity of medical examination and free medicine distribution for poor people in the commune, attracting a large number of people to come for health examination and consultation. Ms. Thi Phuong excitedly said: "This is a remote area, medical examination and treatment are still difficult, so when I heard that a group of doctors and nurses came to examine and distribute free medicine, I and many people in the hamlet were excited to come here early. We are very grateful that the local government and the Youth Union have created conditions for medical examination and distribution of medicine like this."
The Pink Holiday Volunteer Campaign is one of the five key programs of the annual Summer Volunteer Campaign of the Youth Union at all levels. The core force is civil servants, public employees, young workers, and young entrepreneurs, applying their expertise and skills to participate in volunteer activities and serve the community. The campaign aims to train courage, awareness and action, promote noble ideals of life, be kind, and contribute their youth to society.

In this year's Pink Holiday Campaign, union members, young civil servants, public employees, and workers implemented the policy of "3 links" (linking forces, linking localities, and linking communities) in implementing volunteer activities and campaign activities. At the same time, focusing on promoting the expertise of the forces; with specialized teams, applying digital transformation; mobilizing resources to support socio -economic development, ensuring the environment and sustainable development in remote and disadvantaged areas".
The annual Pink Holiday Campaign is always an opportunity for union members and young people to contribute to social security work, especially in difficult areas, border areas, and areas with a large number of ethnic minorities. Secretary of the Youth Union of Kien Giang Traditional Medicine Hospital Trieu Thanh Binh shared: "This is a rich and lively practical environment for young civil servants, public employees, young workers and young laborers to practice their mettle, awareness and action, to devote themselves to taking on difficult tasks, and to contribute their youth to society and the community. This year's campaign also clearly demonstrates the pioneering, voluntary and creative role of young people in contributing to the construction of the locality after the merger."
