According to initial verification, the incident occurred at around 9:00 a.m. on September 23, 2025 in classroom 8A5. The group of students involved included NTHT (the person beaten), NNA and NQĐ. (participants in the beating), NPĐ.N. (the person who filmed the video ) and PHVP (used his personal phone to lend to his friend to film the clip and cheer).

The initial cause was determined to be a personal conflict between students in the same 8th grade class. After the incident, the school's Board of Directors invited the students and parents involved to work, asked them to write a self-criticism, and at the same time mobilized them to remove the clip from social networks and handle disciplinary action according to regulations.

Parents of the students involved in the incident have come to meet and apologize to the family of the beaten student and pledged to cooperate in educating and managing their child more closely. However, the family of the victim has not agreed to reconciliation and has reported to the Cho Vam Commune Police. Currently, the Commune Police are receiving, verifying and handling the case according to the law.

A representative of Cho Vam Secondary School said the school will coordinate with authorities and parents to handle the case strictly, while strengthening moral education and behavioral skills for students, to prevent school violence from recurring.
