Techfest Vietnam 2025 with the theme "Creative startups for all people, new growth drivers" is organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee from December 12 to 14, including a series of activities: opening ceremony, policy forum, seminars, international investment connection and technology exhibition. The festival is expected to welcome 60,000 visitors in person and online; 1,200 investment funds and incubators; 1,700 domestic and foreign startups. This is the 11th time Techfest Vietnam has been organized.
According to Mr. Pham Hong Quat, with Techfest Vietnam 2025, the Hoan Kiem Lake walking street will become a meeting point for the technology and startup community; attendees can learn about technology, explore new business models, update policies and listen to startup stories. The festival is built in an open, vibrant and inspirational direction, aiming to spread the entrepreneurial spirit to the masses.
The opening ceremony of Techfest Vietnam 2025 took place on December 13 with the participation of Party and State leaders. Many policies promoting science and technology, innovation and digital transformation will be announced. The Top 10 venture capital deals in 2025 and the Top 10 typical localities building startup ecosystems were also honored at the event. The National Policy Forum on Investment for Innovative Startups took place on the same day, where management agencies, international experts, investment funds and businesses discussed opportunities and challenges for Vietnam in venture capital.
The discussion focused on the dual transformation trend, green industrial zones, smart cities and public-private partnership models. Experts shared their experiences in mobilizing resources from state funds, corporations and the private sector for startup investment.
According to Mr. Pham Hong Quat, coffee shops and restaurants around Hoan Kiem Lake can all become places for investment connections and in-depth discussions. International seminars will be held at the Hanoi People's Committee Hall, the headquarters of Nhan Dan Newspaper, the guest house of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ... The exhibition of innovative startup products and services at Techfest Vietnam 2025 is divided into 4 areas, located on the streets next to Hoan Kiem Lake...
During the 3-day event, the technology experience area is open continuously, allowing people to test products from AI, IoT, virtual reality to high-tech agriculture and smart urban solutions.
Mr. Pham Hong Quat said that with an open model and a closer approach to the community, Techfest Vietnam 2025 hopes to create a space for connection and inspiration to promote the goal of building Vietnam into a creative startup nation.
Within the framework of Techfest this year, 10 international seminars were held with nearly 100 experts from the US, Korea, the Netherlands... The content revolved around policy, human resources, finance, investment, technology commercialization and knowledge transfer in the fields of AI, agriculture, data and green economy.
