Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Bar Association and the 24th anniversary of the establishment of the Bac Ninh Provincial Bar Association

On the morning of April 2, the Bac Ninh Provincial Bar Association held a ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Bar Association (April 4, 1955 - April 4, 2025) and the 24th anniversary of the founding of the Bac Ninh Provincial Bar Association and awarded the "For the development of the Vietnam Bar Association" Medal to leaders and members with many achievements and contributions. Attending the ceremony were comrades: Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ha Sy Tiep, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

Overview of the Celebration

At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the 70-year journey of establishment and development of the Vietnam Lawyers Association, and affirmed the important contributions of the Bac Ninh Provincial Lawyers Association over the past 24 years. Looking back on the past 70 years, Vietnamese lawyers have the right to be proud of their contributions, especially in the field of participating in law-making, contributing to the perfection of the socialist rule-of-law State institution, propagating, disseminating, educating the law and accompanying the country's development.

The Bac Ninh Provincial Lawyers Association was established on June 12, 2001. After 24 years of operation and development, under the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, and the professional guidance of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Lawyers Association, generations of Bac Ninh Provincial Lawyers have constantly strived, trained, and matured along with the daily development of the locality. Through 5 Congresses, the Bac Ninh Provincial Lawyers Association has grown stronger and stronger, from 44 members in the early years of its establishment to nearly 900 members, many of whom hold important positions as leaders of provincial branches and delegates to People's Councils at all levels in the province.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Tan Phuong acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Provincial Lawyers Association in recent years, and suggested that in the coming time, the Association continue to maintain and promote movements, launch emulation campaigns towards the political tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, closely coordinate with agencies in performing common tasks. Cadres and members continue to promote the spirit of initiative and creativity, participate in the development of legal documents to ensure quality and efficiency, actively innovate methods of organization and operation towards the grassroots, improve operational efficiency, and successfully carry out tasks in the "New Era - The Era of the Vietnamese people's rise".
