Hamlet Truong always talks about his senior - musician Tran Le Quynh as his idol since his youth, deeply influencing his love for music and his composing style. For many years now, he has maintained the habit of choosing a song by Tran Le Quynh to start his solo music nights.

In daily life, Hamlet Truong occasionally asks about his health and exchanges music with his senior via text messages because Tran Le Quynh is living in England.

One day, he texted to ask to make a Tran Le Quynh music album and the author agreed. "For me, that was the most 'shocking' memory of this time," Hamlet Truong recalled.

The album took 5 years to complete because it was interspersed with other projects. In return, the musician found he had more time to sing his most mature works.

Singing Tran Le Quynh's most famous songs, Hamlet Truong is not afraid of being compared to previous singers because "each audience will choose the voice that suits their soul to listen to".
