The road to the top of Phu Sa Phin mountain has two starting directions, one is from the foot of the mountain in Xim Vang commune or starting from Hang Chu village, Hang Chu commune.

The guides are Mong people who are familiar with the terrain, are healthy and have many years of experience accompanying tourist and mountain climbing groups.

In recent years, some travel companies have cooperated with local authorities to operate trekking tours for tourists who love adventure and experience.

The climbing terrain is mainly trails, quite safe, the climbing route with moderate difficulty is chosen by many tourists to combine trekking and "cloud hunting".

From December to April of the following year is the ideal time to explore the top of Phu Sa Phin mountain, especially in March and April when the rhododendrons and many other wild flowers are enchanting. On average, each month, the company organizes 2 tours to the top of Phu Sa Phin mountain with 35-40 guests.

As a porter (guide) with many years of experience in mountain climbing, Mr. Mua A Chinh, Hang Chu village, Hang Chu commune, shared: For the past 2 years, Phu Sa Phin peak has attracted many tourists to experience its pristine landscape.

Contributing to promoting the image of local tourism, each porter must not only be familiar with the terrain and have good health, but also act as a tour guide, assisting tourists in moving around and capturing beautiful moments for tourists. Thanks to tourism activities, local people have more income.

On weekends, there are quite a lot of tourists climbing Phu Sa Phin peak. The route attracts many different age groups to participate.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Anh, from Nam Dinh province, confided: Phu Sa Phin is the third mountain peak I have challenged to conquer, before that were Ta Lien Son peak, Putaleng (Lai Chau), Lung Cung (Yen Bai), but Phu Sa Phin gives a completely different feeling from the previous routes I have been to, from the ancient mossy, magical forest to the view of the sea of clouds... like being lost in a fairy tale world, perfect from every angle.

Conquering Phu Sa Phin peak together, Ms. Do Nguyet, from Dong Nai province, said: Eager to welcome the winter atmosphere in the North, my friend and I looked for some spring travel spots at the beginning of the year.

Besides sightseeing in Moc Chau district, we continued to choose to experience climbing Phu Sa Phin peak on the Northwest discovery route.

Everyone is impressed by the fresh climate with rich but attractive vegetation, still retaining its rustic beauty and untouched by humans.

It takes about 5 hours of walking and resting, overcoming many terrains and challenges, to reach the top of Phu Sa Phin. After conquering the steep path, all fatigue seems to disappear when reaching the top and seeing the beautiful sea of white clouds.
