Which bank has the highest interest rate now?
In the context of banks continuously adjusting deposit interest rates down due to pressure from falling lending rates, PVcomBank went against the trend by launching a record deposit interest rate of 10.5%/year for 12-13 month term deposits. The condition to enjoy this preferential interest rate is that customers must maintain a minimum balance of VND2,000 billion. This move helped PVcomBank lead the market in deposit interest rates for many consecutive months.
HDBank ranked second with an interest rate of 8.2%/year for a 13-month term, 2.3 percentage points lower than PVcomBank but with the condition of maintaining a lower balance, only 300 billion VND.
