At the meeting, the representative of the Department of Agriculture and Environment said: Up to now, the licensing and deployment of sources of filling materials and construction stones for key projects in the province as well as the Southern region have been fully licensed and deployed. In particular, for the Long Thanh International Airport Project, the provincial authorities have sent a list and specific volumes of stone quarries to coordinate with the Long Thanh Airport Project Management Board to implement the allocation. At the same time, the project contractors have proactively worked directly with stone mining enterprises, so the supply of all kinds of construction stones for the project has been stable.
For the remaining projects, project management boards have proactively worked with quarry operators, so the situation of dividing construction stone sources has not arisen. Some project management boards only adjust the supply from different quarries to ensure the quality of construction stone for construction projects.

Regarding the application of the special mechanism of increasing mining capacity by 50%, currently, 5 quarries have received documents from the Provincial People's Committee to apply the special mechanism. 5 other quarries are being reviewed and licensed to apply the special mechanism.
Concluding the working session, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang assessed: The implementation of material allocation for the construction of key projects in the province and the Southern region has been basically implemented. The Department of Agriculture and Environment, as the standing agency performing the task, needs to monitor and report weekly to continue implementation. In particular, it is necessary to clearly allocate the mining output and types of exploited stones of each mine so that investors can regulate for contractors. At the same time, guide localities to carry out legal procedures on land and specific mechanisms for stone mines.
The Department of Construction, the Department of Industry and Trade and the Provincial Police review and monitor the purchase and transportation of constructed resources from allocated mines, applying a special mechanism to only serve the supply of key national and provincial projects.
