At the meeting, representatives from the Department of Agriculture and Environment stated that, to date, the licensing and allocation of fill materials and construction stone for key projects in the province and the Southern region have been fully completed. Specifically, for the Long Thanh International Airport project, provincial authorities have submitted a list and specific quantities of quarries to coordinate with the Long Thanh Airport Project Management Board for allocation. Furthermore, the project contractors have proactively worked directly with quarrying companies, ensuring a stable supply of various types of construction stone for the project.
For the remaining projects, project management boards have proactively worked with quarrying companies, so there have been no additional issues regarding the allocation of construction stone. Some project management boards have only adjusted the supply from different quarries to ensure the quality of construction stone for the projects.

Regarding the application of the special mechanism to increase mining capacity by 50%, currently, the Provincial People's Committee has issued documents to implement this special mechanism for 5 quarries. The other 5 quarries are undergoing review and licensing for the application of this special mechanism.
Concluding the meeting, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang assessed that the allocation of materials for key projects in the province and the Southern region has been basically implemented. The Department of Agriculture and Environment, as the permanent agency responsible for this task, needs to monitor and report weekly to continue implementation. Specifically, it must clearly allocate the production volume and types of stone extracted from each quarry so that investors can regulate the allocation to contractors. At the same time, it should guide localities in carrying out legal procedures regarding land and specific mechanisms for stone quarries.
The Department of Construction, the Department of Industry and Trade, and the Provincial Police will review and monitor the buying, selling, and transportation of construction materials from mines that have been allocated for exploitation, applying a special mechanism to supply only key national and provincial projects.
