On the evening of August 15, at Lam Vien Square and Xuan Huong Lake area, Xuan Huong Ward (Da Lat), Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan inspected the preparations for the event "Moving Forward with Vietnam" and the launching ceremony of the national campaign to protect the environment.

The event “Moving Forward with Vietnam” was organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security nationwide, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2, the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day, the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection and the Campaign “All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho”.

Right after the event “ Moving forward with Vietnam ”, Lam Dong province organized a ceremony to launch the mass movement to protect the environment and the movement “Saturday for a bright, green, clean and beautiful environment”.

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan assigned relevant agencies and units to carefully check the contents and items so that the events take place smoothly.

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan requested relevant agencies, units and localities to focus on arranging street music venues around Xuan Huong Lake and folk dance performances to create a vibrant atmosphere, attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate.

According to records, the work of ensuring environmental sanitation and urban order, security and order in Lam Vien Square area, around Xuan Huong Lake is being implemented carefully and closely. Lam Dong Provincial Police force in coordination with relevant agencies and units is committed to ensuring absolute security and safety for the event.

The event “Moving Forward with Vietnam” is a community activity of unprecedented scale and significance. For the first time, the walking activity took place simultaneously in 34 provinces, cities, communes, wards and special zones nationwide.

In Lam Dong, the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has issued a plan to coordinate the organization of the event "Moving Forward with Vietnam" in the province. In particular, it requires agencies, units, and localities in the province to organize the event in a solemn, safe, and economical manner; and mobilize all social resources in the organization.

Security and safety work for the event is tightly organized.

It is expected that the whole Lam Dong province will mobilize more than 35,000 people to participate; of which, at the provincial level, there will be at least 5,400 people; each commune, ward, and special zone will have from 300 to 500 people.

From July 25 to August 16, people nationwide can register online at: cungvietnamtienbuoc.nhandan.vn and start recording their steps to contribute to the journey with the message " 1 billion steps towards a new era ", a practical activity to show patriotism, reduce carbon emissions and move towards the country's Net Zero goal.

From 6:00 to 6:30 a.m. on August 16, program participants nationwide will turn to Ba Dinh Square to watch the National Flag Raising Ceremony, sing the National Anthem and perform other program content.

From 6:30 to 7:30, walk nationwide.

According to the above schedule, in the central area of Lam Dong province, walking around Xuan Huong Lake will be carried out; in other localities across the province, the content and time frame will also be carried out according to the plan.
