Lam Dong won first prize in the Singing Contest for People with Disabilities in the Central Highlands region

Lam Dong Province Association of People with Disabilities excellently won the first prize for the whole group

The contest aims to create an environment for cultural exchange, art, entertainment and recreation for people with disabilities; to encourage and motivate people with disabilities to be confident and united in life. Thereby, discovering and supporting, creating conditions for developing talents, creative abilities and artistic performances for people with disabilities.

The competition was attended by more than 130 disabled artists from 10 provinces and cities: Da Nang, Binh Dinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Ha Tinh, Hue, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Lam Dong.

The medley "Country - Melody of the Fatherland" by Lam Dong troupe excellently won the Gold Medal.

The Lam Dong delegation participating in the competition includes 16 artists and actors representing nearly 2,500 members of the Provincial Association of the Disabled. The performance program brought by the Lam Dong delegation to the competition includes 3 pieces that were carefully choreographed and staged, with carefully practiced vocal and musical techniques, including: Medley of Country - Melody of the Fatherland (Pham Minh Tuan - Tran Tien, performing as a male and female choir); Far Away Region (Duc Trinh, female solo); Forever the Heroic City (Kieu Viet Loc, singing and dancing for the entire group).

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 5 Gold Medals and 7 Silver Medals to the excellent performances. With 3 performances, the Association of the Disabled in Lam Dong province brought home 3 Medals, including 2 Gold Medals for 2 performances: Medley of Country - Melody of the Fatherland and Far Away; 1 Silver Medal for the performance Forever the Heroic City.

Lam Dong delegation excellently won first prize overall, second prize in Da Nang, third prize in Ha Tinh; honored to participate in the National Singing Contest for People with Disabilities held on June 12-13, 2025 in Hanoi.
